Hi. Welcome. I created CookieMOMster because when I was a first time mom 6 years ago cookies saved me. I was in a whirlwind of sleepless nights, crying and baby drool. I ate lots of cookies and began writing. Writing had been my passion since I was young and I had forgotten how much it meant to me. It's funny how these little lives come into your life and cause chaos but at the same time allow you to re-discover yourself. Thank you to Konrad and Koby for that. So sit down have a cookie and read. I hope you enjoy my blog as much as I enjoy writing. Thanks for visiting. I'm glad you stopped by.

Drive

cookie-MOMster is on a new journey.  Seven years ago my journey was motherhood.  I'm still on it and enjoying the ride...but my journey has made some turns.  Because of the road with all its twists and bends I've started climbing some wonderful hills with views of fulfilling a life dream...becoming a writer!  I self published my first book: Footprints in the Snow.  While writing this book an angel in heaven held my hand and gave me a voice.  It was a beautiful journey of compassion and love.  My journey continued as it made a sharp right smashing me into taking a good look at my career.  I was not in a good place.  I was completely drowning in stress.  I took control, made a detour and haven't looked in the rear view mirror once.  My road is open now with magnificent views on my left and right.  The road ahead is endless.  I look forward to embracing my new journey as a writer and book store owner.  Life is busy.  Life is full.  Life is up and down.  Cookies and many of them are still consumed.  I still chase happy.  Recently in a writing workshop I had everyone think of six words that summed up their lives at the point they are at in their life...I came up with...
A journey to find inner peace.
My hope is you'll sit back, buckle up and come on this ride with me.

  4. I am so inspired by your blog and your courage to live your own truth! Your right you can't look back. So lets make the journey fun and grow the child in us. Jump in puddles when it rains, eat ice cream on the coldest day of the year, wear what you want to wear and say what you want to say when you want to say it! My six words: tell my truth each and everyday. By doing so I hope to find what I most desire to do next in life and then get after it! I am chiseling away that old self one speck at a time. I am not sure where the journey will lead me but know it will be purposeful and fantastic!

  5. I am so proud of you! It's not easy to start a new direction, but I love the one you have taken. And I will say...next books I get, I am ordering through you! I've been thinking of reading the Hunger Games everyone talks about. :-)
